The project of the Iraqi (Mudheef)

The project of the Iraqi (Mudheef) at Rice University in Houston, Texas, USA, aims to create a space dedicated to sharing and spreading the rich culture and history of Iraq to a global audience. The Mudheef, a traditional Iraqi reed house, holds cultural significance and serves as a symbol of heritage.

To bring this project to life, the reeds used for constructing the Mudheef were shipped all the way from the Iraqi marshes. The wait for the shipment was nearly 3 months, but the long-awaited arrival marked an important milestone in the project's progress.

The success of this endeavor wouldn't have been possible without the assistance and support of Dr. Azzam, an Iraqi expert and the Senior Director of the Iraqi Nature organization based in Italy. His expertise and guidance played a crucial role in initiating the project and ensuring its smooth execution.

As the project moves forward, the completion of the Mudheef will be a significant achievement, providing a platform to showcase Iraq's diverse culture and history to the world. You have expressed your commitment to updating us once the project reaches its final stages, and we eagerly await further news of its completion.

By establishing a space for cultural exchange and understanding, this project holds the potential to foster connections between Iraq and the international community, promoting a greater appreciation for the country's wonderful heritage.
